As a major part, and at the heart of this Carousel History website, is the contents of the 28 years and 380 back issues of The Carousel News & Trader, from 1985-2013.
It will take a while to get them all scanned and transferred and loaded. It could be a few years even, but the site should be full of plenty of history and photographs and will always be growing.
I’m hoping to have 50+ CN&T Back Issue flipbooks online when the site launches, here is a sample of what to expect – one of my favorite issues as Jane’s carousel was still in the final phases of restoration when I started making the magazine in July of 2006 – the dream location was still far from reality at that point – so it was pretty exciting when it was finally time to go to Brooklyn and photograph the amazingly restored carousel in its phenomenal new home;
