Buffalo Heritage Carousel, Inc Receives Support from Carousel Enthusiasts Near and Far

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Heritage Carousel, Inc., contacted me the other day to inquire if it would be possible to add a "Letter of Support" request to the coverage of the Buffalo Heritage Carousel Project on the web site.
According to Laurie Hauer-LaDuca, presidentof Buffalo Heritage Carousel, Inc.,"The City of Buffalo has a "process" for designating land for the public's use. In our case we are seeking the "Dunbar" site at Canalside. The planners have asked if we have letters of support from the community for our project (East side, West side, etc.) to show that EVERYONE wants the carousel to be there. It's just part of the political process."
So Laurie thought it would be great if she, "also had "National" support for the project speaking of the "Value" that the carousel will bring to the City, not only for the community, but also tourists. It's for everyone demographically", she says, "Kids of all ages. Its an economic stimulus for the area." She added, "I think the Mayor of Buffalo would be Amazed: that this project has such a broad audience of support."
