1919 Philadelphia Toboggan Company
PTC #49 Carousel. • 3-Rows • 48 Horses
The grand, PTC #49 Carousel was built in 1919 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Co. The carousel went right from the factory to Clementon Amusement Park, in New Jersey where it would remain until 1996. The original PTC horses were sold off individually at auction ‘to raise money for the park’ in 1990. PTC #49 had some beautiful and unusual outside row standers.
