Ca. 1907 Denzel Menagerie at Tolchester Amusement Park

“Carousel News & Trader reader, Chuck Eckles, sent us these four original photos of the Dentzel carousel that used to operated at the Tolchester Amusement Park in Tolchester, MD. Charles says that the photos are from approximately 1950 – 51. The park originally opened in 1877 with a hand propelled merry-go-round and a hand organ pulled by a goat among its attractions. The park closed in 1962.”
