HOUSTON, TX – I probably have slightly different memories of the once iconic Texas amusement park, Astroworld, than most of its fans. I visited Astroworld just once – to remove it’s beautiful historic carousel. The park had closed not too long before, but we arrived just after the auction, and the place was picked clean. The auctioneer said anything not tied down found a buyer at the amusement park’s auction.
